About the Designer

Cyril is the designer for the dolly style fashion brand, dolldelight. She stars in her own reality TV show in the Asian-American network, Myx TV'sThe Doll Life.

Cyril began sewing in Makati, NCR, Philippines in 2008 after her father gave her a sewing machine when he realized she had a talent for it. She began sewing with headpieces and eventually moved on to making her own dresses. Her work has always been inspired but never limited to the popular Japanese street fashion of Harajuku. Aside from creating her own pieces, Cyril models her dresses in photoshoots which she shares in her online social networks. She has created a considerable following in her Facebook page. Aside from her online presence, she was also featured in the local newspaper and TV shows of Southern California. She now works with her very own group of models and photographers who are the members of the exclusive Dolldelight Dollhouse. 

Since her convention debut at Pacific Media Expo in 2011, Dolldelight has been featured in Los Angeles's International TV network LA18, KTLA 5 Los Angeles, MYX TV and has made numerous appearances in other conventions and events by providing solo fashion shows. She modeled her dresses at the Asian American Expo in Pomona, the Monterey Park Cherry Blossom Festival, FIDM in Irvine, Fanime in San Jose, CA, and many others. At Anime Matsuri in Houston, TX and also at Pacific Media Expo in Los Angeles, CA, she was chosen to be a model for the prestigious Japanese lolita fashion brand Baby the Stars Shine Bright. dolldelight was also Anime Expo's first ever Fashion Guest of Honor in 2012 in which she headlined for a 2000-seat, fully packed, fashion show auditorium. Since then, she has been the Fashion Guest of Honor for SacAnime Winter 2013 in Sacramento, CA, Anime Conji 2013 in San Diego, Mechacon 2013 in New Orleans, LA, and Expo TNT 26 in Mexico City, Mexico.
