Promotional incentives are common place every season for Courtney. She wanted postcard sized mailers she could personally send out to her list of clients, something that would uniquely identifiable as hers, but be able to vary with seasons of the year, holidays or other promotional events.
The system I created takes the same female illustration found on her business cards and wraps it around a postcard, allowing for two separate sides for an inviting headline and the actual promotion details. The colors of the background are easily changed and always allow for a hint of the illustration to show through. This minimal background treatment still provides something of interest as a backdrop but doesn't distract or compete with the messaging, promotional details or contact information.
