Create Your CIM Home Page

Create a default home page on cim.saddleback.edu, blackboard has Video on using either Dreamweaver or FileZilla with cim. FileZilla is a new and improved video.

If you don't have a background in HTML/Dreamweaver, you may use the Flash Home Page generator for this class.

Chapter 1

Create a similar JPEG like bread.jpg using fw1_1.png, make sure you display ability to set text to path, and use image colors in Vector based objects.

Replace Color Page 4-37, you may want to first use the polygon lasso tool to marquee the clouds, and on tolerance set it a lot lower like 20-50, and select the colorize option. Remember Ctrl^Z is the undo key.

Extra Credit or Alternative Come up with a way to modify test 1 so that it adds material from Chapters 3 and 4. More specifically, chapter 3 importing and modifying bitmaps, and chapter 4 image editing.

Select an image to create, list image topics are on blackboard's discussion board. Select an image that has not been previously spoken for, add a thread on what you will be doing, Then complete the drawing and post the png image to your home page.
